Early life[]
Nothing is known of Dan's early life. Following the outbreak in 2017, he survived for an unknown length of time before joining up with Iron Mike and settling in his encampment.
Events of Days Gone[]
Prior to the arrival of Deacon St. John, Dan and Joshua Harper became involved in a violent dispute over a card game which resulted in Harper shooting Lane in the back before fleeing the Lost Lake encampment. During the storyline Over A Card Game, Deacon is tasked with hunting down Harp by Rikki Patil.
