Wizard Island

Wizard Island is a major safe zone in the second half of Days Gone. Serving as an encampment and the main base of operations for the Deschutes County Militia, vital personal were protected extensively under armed guard as Colonel Garret sought to utilize the island as a major stepping stone to retake Oregon - and eventually the country - from the Freaker Hordes. However, as the DCM suffered substantial losses from marauders, Garret instead sought to eliminate all remaining survivor encampments in Oregon. This resulted in open conflict between the survivor encampments in Northern Oregon and the Militia, with the Northern Encampments forming a temporary coalition, and launched a major attack against the Wizard Island safe zone, resulting in the disbandment of the Militia and the deaths of senior leadership.
