Karie Kouri is a minor character featured in Days Gone. She was the wife of Derrick Kouri.
Personal History[]
Karie was the daughter of a photographer which has his own photo shop. In an unknown date, she met a soldier named Derrick, both fell in love with and they were married to for 12 years, having two daughters.
During the beginning of the Freaker Virus outbreak, Derrick, implied to be with her, was on vacation in the west coast, Oregon. Later, he resided in National Emergency Response Organization Silver Lake refugee camp until it was overrun. He escaped with few survivors. There are no more references about her, implying than his wife died in the camp.
Events of Days Gone[]
Two years later, Derrick, who then was a captain in the Deschutes County Militia, was lonely and carried a picture of him with his wife, made by her father. He meet a man called Deacon St. John. The captain felt a connection with the man and talked him about his wife, explaining about his loss, but without saying too much details about how he lost her or when.
