Maria Hewitt is an unseen character mentioned in Days Gone. She was a resident of the Hot Springs encampment located in the Belknap region of Oregon, United States.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Nothing is known of Maria's early life. Following the outbreak in 2017, she survived for an unknown length of time before joining up with Ada Tucker and settling in her encampment.
Events of Days Gone[]
In early 2019, Maria and a man named Bowman were beaten to death by Limbo, a drifter turning in Freaker ears for camp credits. Tucker recruits another drifter named Deacon St. John to track down and kill Limbo in retaliation for the murders.
As part of the Nice and Bloody storyline, Deacon is tasked with hunting down and killing Limbo in retaliation to the murder of Bowman and Hewitt. Deacon is successful, and brings back Limbo's favorite tire iron, which called "Iron Tooth", to Turner as proof of his killing.
