The PDW is a sidearm in Days Gone. It is one of the best pistols before or even after the Eliminator is bought.
Description[]
Incredible accuracy, fast firing, but still has some punch. Low recoil and a large clip make this a good choice. -In-game description.

Trivia[]
- This was the first weapon seen at the E3 2017 Demo.
- The PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) is based on the now-discontinued original Mk 1 model of the FN Five-SeveN, but has the frame-mounted safety of the Mk 2 model. The "Five-seveN" is partly named for the 5.7x28mm cartridge it fires. This cartridge was originally developed in conjunction with the FN P90 PDW to have increased lethality over existing weapons chambered in 9x19mm. The pistol was developed so that personnel issued the P90 as a primary weapon would have a compatible sidearm chambered for the same ammunition. It is also a good Law Enforcement firearm because its round has less chance of over-penetration.
- The P90 was designed in response to NATO requests for a "Personal Defense Weapon". This was defined as a class of lightweight weapon that could be issued to support and service personnel who were not expected to be in contact with the enemy. Much like the American M1 Carbine, its purpose was to take the place of a pistol or rifle in order to defend themselves if need be.
