Biography[]
Early life[]
Nothing is known of Reed's early life, not even his first name. Following the outbreak in 2017, he survived for an unknown length of time before joining up with "Iron Mike" Wilcox and settling in his encampment at Lost Lake in Oregon. He acted as a camp guard working for Raymond "Skizzo" Sarkozi, who was in charge of security.
Events of Days Gone[]
In 2019, Reed and another man named Campbell were assigned to guard duty at the farm near Sherman's Camp when they encountered the drifter Erik Lynch attempting to steal two bags of seed. After a brief confrontation, Lynch killed both Campbell and Reed before fleeing the camp.
As part of the Seeds For The Spring storyline, another drifter known as Deacon St. John is tasked with hunting down Lynch in retaliation for the theft and double murder. Rikki Patil emphasizes to Deacon that Erik must be taken alive, in order to be interrogated for the location of the seed bags.
Erik Lynch is presumably executed by Iron Mike or Rikki Patil for the murder of two camp residents. It is not known if the seeds were recovered.
